Bio

Sophie's passion for motorsport started at a young age when her father took her to Thruxton to watch the British Touring Car Championship. Since then it has been her ambition to become a racing driver. Her motorsport career started later that year when she started karting at a local saturday morning karting school where she learnt basic race craft and more about the sport. Aged 13 she moved into the revolutionary Junior Rotax Max class and was a regular front runner. After winning the Junior Rotax championship Sophie was invited onto BBC's Blue Peter with Lewis Hamilton and Channel 4's Faking it. 2005 marked Sophie's step into cars, racing a Caterham and testing various formulae's including Mini challenge and Clio Cup cars. Since making the move into car racing Sophie has tested various cars and holds both a UK Kart National A licence and a National B race licence. She is a regular feature writer for Girlracer Magazine and tests and reviews a variety of race and road cars for them alongside other publications.

Alongside her racing exploits Sophie is also a successful commercial model, a rare combination. Her modelling career started when she was chosen by Red Bull to represent Great Britain at the British GP in 2005. Since then Sophie has represented high profile clients and worked throughout Europe specialising in bridal, lingerie, fitness and hair modelling. Through her work she has travelled throughout Europe and has represented brands including Organic Hair Systems, Becheeky.com, Love Couture, and Lepel. In 2010 Sophie was chosen as a finalist in the prestigious pageant, Miss Great Britain and is now making the move into presenting with the ambition of being a successful automotive journalist, presenter and racing driver.
